New Year Dream Weaver's Loom Of Love
30 December, 2004
Author: J Freedom Long
Loom of Love is ready for brand new year.
New yarns, same dreams, shuttle will mend old fear.
Fabrics were torn last year and year before,
Natural fibers seem to always appear?
"Air" fibers make aerie romantic soul,
"Earth" fibers make humble garden to sow,
"Fire" fibers ignite embers of passion,
"Water" fibers must float above shallow flow.
Weave magic cloth to blend reality dreams?
Why does fiber love come loose at the seams?
Dreamweaver's Loom of Love needs change this year,
Heddles and hearts with better pattern, it seems?
Last year's facade of fine silk seemed so fair.
Linen knots tangled their vanity bare.
Let New Year dream weaver on Loom of Love,
Weave fine tapestry for true love to share.
------- Author's Notes -------
Weaving dreams with realities is like weaving cloth to often find that what appears as silk can get very entangled with those natural elements and needs for loving and loving. The loom is simple but the process of weaving love is complex. |
