without you at my side
I could never have come this far
it was your encouragement
it was your honesty
it was your unconditional love
it was who you are
it was what you said
it was what we went through
it was all because of you
never one moment of regret
it was all those times
it was the many lonely nights
that your touch warmed my heart
It was the many sad holidays
you helped me get through
it was the many long hours of school
and the warm meals I came home to
it was the many tears that I tried to hide
that you caught and dries every time they fell
it was every day of waking up
to your smile so innocent and sweet
it was you that picked me up from my knees
because of you we made it through.

dedicated to my Daughter & my Son. for 13 years alone we struggled after their dads death. i put myself back in school to get a decent job many hours of school they stood by me the whole time they were my life. they were my inspiration together we made it through the many storms thank you babies I LOVE YOU. Mom-E and yes they had my meal ready when i came in imagine that???? my children are very special and i have no regrets putiing my life on hold..if i had to i'd do it all over again..for them... |
