Christmas Cheer? Hah..
4 January, 2005
Author: Mike
It's Christmas, but where's the magic?
The lights, the tinels. They fail to enchant me.
They use to, just last year,
But things have changed..
A dark cloud now hovers over me
Blocking out the happiness I need to feel.
No more Christmas cheer for me.
It's just another day.
Full of arguments, and screams, and hate.
Fighting nonstop as soon as I wake.
"Hey that's mine" "Stop right now!"
How much more can a boy take?
No one bothers about what I want.
I'm the 'weird' one, ignored and unloved.
Who cares about me?
No one.
It doesn't matter much anymore,
I'm used to it by now.
It's fine, let them ignore me.
Who needs Christmas?
Who needs them?

Leah (204.112.162.35) -- Wednesday, January 5 2005, 10:36 am Merry Christmas! And Happy new years Mike! I guess all you can learn from experiences like these are that what relaly matters is family and if your not getting that be a blessing to others and be family to them......Now I'm a believer that things happen for a reason and that life is shitty and we should be thankful its not perfect cuz while were here we can learn from our mistakes and use those experiences of dissapointments and regret to enrich our lives with better more thought out experiences (used that word alot) any happy new year great poems! Keep it up! :) |
