Time Holds A Secret

time scares me
it's dimensions seem to trap me
like an insect in a spiders web

sometimes i swear it almost stops
you look helplessly at your watch
every second feels like an hour

but sometimes time moves so fast
and your not ready for where it's leads to
you can't help but think to yourself, where does it all go

i believe time holds a big secret
some master piece of science
and when we figure it out, it will be the end of the world

Yes you're right

Megan, time does hold a big secret, but when we figure it out, it's not the end of the world...It's only the beginning. :)

impressive

Darn good poem! Time must hold a secret. When you want the minutes to move by fast, so that you can get off of work, or from school, or from church, or whatever, it seems they tick by so slow. But when you want the minutes to last forever when you're having fun, they go by so fast.
