Home Is Where You Make It
6 January, 2005
Author: Sarah Taurus
home,
A feeling of comfort when you step through the door,
And being responsible for all of your chores,
Raising your children,
And watching them grow,
Taking the time to count thier toes,
Warmth of a fire place,
And a hot plate on the table,
A lovely couch,
The color of sable.
Time consuming movies,
Stories before bed,
Tucking your children in,
As they lay down thier sweet head.
Home is where you make it!
------- Author's Notes -------
I wrote this poem because it reminds me of when I was a little girl, and we moved around alot when I was little. I learned that home IS where you make it. And It doesn't matter where you live as long as you have good memories and you have friends and family in your life that you love. |
