My Tears, Are Gone, From, My Eyes
7 January, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
I was standing, by the water’s edge, no, not contemplating an end
To all things, as I know them, I was just wondering, how can a river,
Move so fast, and still, bring life, to everything it passes, just wondering
I see trees, leaves so green, I feel, the fresh birth of life as I stand, here
I see, the clouds, each with a life of its own, soon, to disappear
Yet, more life, will appear and take its place, we will never see
An empty sky, and as I feel, the tears, from my eyes, so blessed
To see and be a part, of this, fast, moving river, as it passes by
Just, wondering, as I stand at the edge of this river, how much life,
Has passed me by, was I so, busy, that I could not see that,
There is an edge to life and as it flows by, I see beauty, in my eyes
As I stand and watch, this river, giving life, my tears, are gone, from my eyes
