My Tears, Are Gone, From, My Eyes
8 January, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
I was standing, by the water’s edge, no, not contemplating an end
To all things, as I know them, I was just wondering, how can a river,
Move so fast, and still, bring life, to everything it passes, just wondering
I see trees, leaves so green, I feel, the fresh birth of life as I stand, here
I see, the clouds, each with a life of its own, soon, to disappear
Yet, more life, will appear and take its place, we will never see
An empty sky, and as I feel, the tears, from my eyes, so blessed
To see and be a part, of this, fast, moving river, as it passes by, me
Just, wondering, as I stand, at the edge of this river, how much life,
Has passed me by, was I so, busy, that I could not see that,
There is an edge to life and as it flows by, I see beauty, in my eyes
As I stand and watch, this river, giving life, my tears, are gone, from my eyes

Princess Moon (64.136.26.62) -- Sunday, January 9 2005, 05:07 am Oh my gosh Martin! This poem was absolutely beautiful and fruitful in spirit. It actually had me want to ponder on every word, phrase, and comma within the writing. It was beautiful is what I'm saying. Man, let me just say, if you plan to write anymore like these, give me the heads up so I can read them. I always read the poems you submit, but so far, I love this one the best. It's so wonderful! Awesome Job Martin-Awesome! |
Martin Vann (67.234.27.115) -- Sunday, January 9 2005, 09:14 pm Princess Moon, The river flows, within, every sprit that has known, a touch of love, a bit a pain. Seems, you know this river well and understand it's flow, it never ends, like words from our heart, that we never speak to the heart, we wrote them, for, still, the river flows. My prayer, and I have many, is that one I never spoke my heart to, will one day, stand, by this river, and share, what you, Princess Moon, share, back with me. -MV |
