Love Your Enemies by Angel On The Edge

You curse me, I pray for your happiness.
You hate me; I give you nothing but love.
You steal from me; I give you all I have.
You judge me, I pray for your insecurities

I try to show you god’s love
You push me away
Why wont you listen?
Is it cause your scared?
I will be there for you.

You have so much hate for me
I can see it in your eyes
Is it my smile that never fades?
That defeats you
My words of encouragement and happiness
That deafen you

I know that you can’t understand
How I could love you
When all you have shown me is hate.

At first I didn’t understand
But now it is clear.
God is there for me
Thank you god for helping me love my enemies.

Love conquers all! Those hard-hearted ones will have to soften up sometime, once they see they can't attack you with their venom, because you've got something they lack.
