I Scream For You

Moonlight shines through the clouds
like a lost virgin in the misty dark,
lighting my soul in the tomb of fear
guiding me through by candlelit spark,
the chilly wind piercing my torn face
almost freezing me to this missing place,

Longing for the beating heart that bleeds
and links to my pouring tears of hate,
to tame this ghastly demon in me
to release this Angel trapped in a terrible fate,
I'm being held prisoner within my own being
cold and numb trying to break from this feeling,

Can you feel me touching you so
far from physical but I feel your soul,
I see you in my dreams, lost like me
running through a darkened misty hall,
don't stop, you'll find me, just fight,
and through the clouds shines the moonlight.

I scream for you!!

As always

I'm always sure, you'll have a dynamic poem, whenever posted! Very vivid, dark, and thrilling! By reading your words, I can hear the tone, see the gesture, and so on. Very good in using some of the five senses in your poem! Right on! -Meri
