Weep The Weep Of No Tomorrow
10 January, 2005
Author: The Lost Girl
When you ask how am I,
can you not see that in my eyes,
when I respond "Okay,"
I'm lying in a million different ways.
Do you not notice my fidgeting hands,
popping my wrist with a yellow rubberband.
Or how when you glance at my long sleeve,
I wrap it tightly around my arm so you can't see,
that underneath these cloths of mine,
I bare a horrible secret lie.
A lie of lonlieness, and constant sorrow,
and I weep the weep of no tomorrow.
But when I tire of crying, and find no other remedy,
my blade comes out, it's so ready to play with me.
I never know if after our game,
my life will still be here,
or still be the same.
So I ask if you notice, this look in my eye,
please say I'm lying, and you want to know why.

Mike (82.35.77.233) -- Saturday, April 9 2005, 11:25 pm Aimee, no offense but I thikn I disagree with you on that one - "Any life is better then no life." You sound like the sort of person who doesn't really have a lot of problems. I may be wrong.. But when your life has gone down so far that you can't even see where you'll be in the next few weeks, 'any life' wouldn't be better then no life at all.. |
