Letting Go
21 November, 2002
Author: CD
I can't begin to imagine
the effects we place on others.
But know this battle isn't yours,
the battle is your brother's.
I know the pain you're feeling,
I have felt it to.
To know a life is lost,
and nothing you can do.
The lie has totally got him,
and he has lost his way.
The ones who truely love him
have nothing but to pray.
Nothing will ever change him,
he has to hit his low.
All who love and need him
have to let him go.
The day may never come for him,
yet I am proof it can.
But understand the help he needs,
the intervention isn't from man.
Don't let your life be troubled
or weigh on your heart each day.
Remember what I've told you,
all you can do now is pray.
Family matters.
