Every Day Thoughts On Paper
12 January, 2005
Author: Brett
Too many times a day I sit down and think
What is my life is for? How can I put my words into ink?
I have secrets that run inside for what seems like miles
They eat me alive, as I'm forced to wear a fake smile
The ones I thought I could possible tell
Are now the ones causing me pain from hell..
How can I then try to speak my thoughts?
When the harder I tried, the furthur they got..
I Guess it's just the price I pay,
For being the emtoional person I am today
Little things affect me deeper than anyone I know,
How can I therefore relate, when no-one shares my woes?
I am in no way different to anyone else in this world
But no-one seems to see the need I have to be heard..
Feelings make my eyes water at any sight of a chance
But people have no clue, and don't give me a second glance
These words alone aren't half of what I can share,
Maybe someday I can let it all out, without being scared..
------- Author's Notes -------
It's almost impossible to explain and talk about certain emotions. Especially when there is no-one to share it with.. |
