Thank you for the kindness and the honesty you show.
I know you do it out of love in order so I'll grow.
The truth is hard to handle, at times I want to hide.
My life has been so difficult, I'm glad you're by my side.
I treasure our times together and the memories that we will share.
I want you to know I love you and for you I deeply care.
In just the time I've gotten to know you, it doesn't seem we've been apart.
It doesn't matter all the years when someones in your heart.
I feel I've always known you, the past now matters not.
I have a wonderful, loving Aunt, that is what I've got.
Who knows what the future holds, but I know you'll be in mine.
We have so much more together to share, we also have the time.
I know our mothers in Heaven are watching over you and me.
They brought this relationship together, it was always meant to be.
Please know that I trust and respect you, I value all you say.
Don't let this wonderful relationship we share ever slip away.
In closing I want to say you've made my dreams come true.
Thank you for giving me a family, a family found in you.
