What, Did God, Say
15 January, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
No more, I can’t take no more, I work, and I pray, yet, I haven’t
Seen, God’s warmth in my heart, now, I come to this place
The last place for a lost soul, like me and cry, Lord, I have
No, No where else to go, my wife and my child, depend on me
Winter, is coming on, I have no wood for the fire and God,
You know, I have worked so hard, and placed, my face
Into your blessed ground, on hands and knees, I show my face
God, where are you, I need, you now, Lord, my crops die
We haven’t had rain, since we last opened up our hearts
To, you god, I kneel, with my face on the ground, that you gave
to me, and I cry, my tears, are all, I have, and it begins, to pour
Rain, pours down into my dry fields, and I hear my God say
You tell this poet, what did God Say?
