Old Love
15 January, 2005
Author: Arianna Bellanotte Nighraven
You've moved on
You're better now
Your life is now your own
But then you're hit
With your past
Those wild oats you've sown
You say hello,
No fear is there
Though with a gentle sigh
You look into the eyes
Of one once forgotten
And see where the memories lie
Your first date, your first kiss,
Try as though you may
They're vivid, now as ever,
Will to not fade
It hurts me now
To think of how
We lost something so true
The love we had,
Now long gone,
Left me in the blue
You walk away
Memories fade
Two stars in the night
The love you lost,
You don't know how,
You find still burning bright
