She

She walks around with her head low
Thinking no one cares or sees
The never ending pain cause by prejudice
Prejudice against difference
Her hatred consumes her
No one lends a hand
As she wrenches the blade across her skin
The pain eases and fear is gone
But it never lasts long
The dark encases her soul
And a wall of ice forms around her heart
Will you be the one to melt it?
Inside the wall her heart is broken
Will you be the one to mend it?
And within her heart are fallen dreams
Will you be there to help her fly?
