Gravity
20 January, 2005
Author: Dimples
It’s the law of gravity
What goes up must come down
If I’m gonna try to reach the top
Better be prepared to hit the ground
If I’m gonna make it high
I’ve gotta take the chance
I can’t be afraid of falling
Like I’ve been in the past
Giving in to panic and fear
I’ve let opportunities go
If I had started the climb
And taken the risk, maybe now I’d know.
Gotta look at this in a different way
My words sound depressing and twisted
Not really sure what I’m trying to say
But I’ll try again in case you missed it.
If you reach for higher goals
There’s every chance that you may fall
But instead of defeat you should feel proud
That you started the climb at all
