Lifetime Friends by CD

Always friends is what we will always be.
A lifetime of memories there between you and me.
It doesn't matter how many years we've been apart.
I may not see you, but your close to my heart.
You and I have been through so much.
No matter where life takes us, we never loose touch.
It's hard to believe all the things we've been through.
I'm a better person solely because of you.
You have always been there for me through good and bad.
I have always known the wonderful friend that I had.
You were there when my baby was born by my side.
You came home to support me when my mother had died.
I love you like a brother, thats how much I do care.
I look forward to so many more memories that we'll share.
Miles and time can't keep us apart.
For you will surely be forever in my heart.
As you leave your childhood home treasure all the memories in your heart.
My friend I'm going to miss you so much as you have to depart.
Remembering all times that we shared and the times that we cried.
It was always wonderful, my life with you by my side.

This has to the best poem I have read in a long time!! You have some real talent!!! It touched my heart because that is basically How I feel about one of my best friends and I hope that we will be there for each other just as you and your friend were!! GREAT POEM!!
