Never Leaves Me
22 January, 2005
Author: Kasie
Sitting down in the unlit corner
Waiting for it to happen
I can hear the footsteps now
As every muscle in my body tension.
Maybe they won't hear me...
Hopefully they'll just pass by
I try to make myself soundless
Attempting to muffle my cry.
No, no it's to late now
Here they come all ready
To scream, yell, even a punch or two
Anything they'll do will be deadly.
Bashing open the door with all force
I can't believe what I hear
Swearing, disgust, what did I do now?
Wishing somehow I could just dissapear.
They all race around my head pounding and pounding
As the stining tears roll down my face
They will never take any mercy
Suffocating me with thier embrase.
They bring up all of the hate in me
Scratching at my heart
Please, oh please make it stop!!
It's so easily being ripped apart.
Sin will never leave me alone
And I guess it never will
Release all of my innocence
And all of my ruthlessness they fill.
