you say you have
a miliion and one things on your mind
your tired of living in the middle of crime
I can relate

you hate having to see intensive wounds up close
the smell of blood
and decaying flesh is getting to you
I can relate

your best friend died
when he moved away
you wish he would of never got divorced
I can relate

you say your hearts
been twisted and broken
when his number was called\
a lottery for heaven
but, not from abuse
or a cheating heart

your boss is having an affair
with someone you know
you thank God it wasn't you
the dogs need their shots
the kids need new shoes
your up to your neck
with delinquent bills
you sit on the floor
pray until you cry
I can relate

that cute fireman called and wants to take you out
the cars in the shop
the freezer went out
your mother-in-law wants to move in
heck all bad timing
i'm sure
I can relate

you woke up this morning
you raised up your arms
you praised God for waking up
to a brand new day
just yesterday you were told it was your last
I can relate

you feel blessed
two great kids
a brand new love

all you want is to give them all your best
I can relate...

and do it over and over again
believe me
heaven knows i can relate
