Silver Zone 2

Author: Pondering Red
Nothing is black and white.
Everything falls in and between
a prism of shades and hues.
Ritual is good-
leads to discipline
that can be very good if not abused-
leads us to a balance
where peace and paths to peace reside.
Daily struggle happens.
It's good if
used to learn from and appreciate
the good and bad and in between.
Such is the paradox of daily living-
in the moment.
The moment is splendid-
sometimes not.
It can be balanced
if we strive to pass
through what we are fearful of-
to get past this obstacle to pleasure.
Such is the flow-
such are the lessons that have come my way-
over and over and
I keep enjoying
as
I write this now
with the sun
shining on my hands.
