Finding Myself
24 September, 2002
Author: CD
I am no longer a prisoner you must know this of me.
I have turned my life around,I have been set free.
And all of the endless nights that I fell on my face.
Waking in the morning a complete and utter disgrace.
All my life I was searching for what I do not know.
Only to find out I couldn't find it,atleast not in blow.
My words may seem somewhat hard to explain.
The blow my friend you know was cocaine.
A life that is led in drugs and in booze.
Is surely a life now that I want to lose.
I never really knew myself very well.
But God was surely there when I eventually fell.
And now my friend I can look you in the face.
I have finally been saved by his sweet loving grace.
And I never want to look back at who I use to be.
My life is brand new, I have finally been set free.
