Loving My Sister
22 September, 2002
Author: CD
I need you to know that I have always cared.
And that I do treasure all of the times that we've shared.
Your not just my sister, your also my friend.
Loving you comes easy, no need to pretend.
Sure we've had our differences, alot of sisters do.
What is so reassuring are the things we've been through.
We have surely grown closer over all of the years.
We've shared so much laughter, hard times, and tears.
And when I talk to you I feel so happy.
Even if my day has been long and crappy.
Now Sharon, I don't know why we use to fight and fuss.
But I do know I'd be lost if there were not an "us".
You make me laugh, it just comes so easy.
It makes me forget all the times that you teased me.
And over the years as we've watched our children grow.
My little girl has grown up, so hard to let go.
And your son, Ryan, so loving and sweet.
Making all the visits back home such a wonderful treat.
And as I grow older I know you'll be there.
We have so many more memories together to share.!
I love you deeply with all of my heart.
Dear sister please know this, I have from the start.
