Doing Time
2 February, 2005
Author: Pamela O'Brien
Like a poet's pen
Run out of ink
There are no words left for me
Now the page
Sits blank & begging
For my silent agony
There are no words
Because there is no pain
Of which most of my words are written
So I lay this poet's pen to rest
And serve it's shortened sentence

Martin Vann (63.25.134.238) -- Wednesday, February 2 2005, 04:23 pm Pam, Your heart is to full of what we value, and that, you will, never lose. However, I agree, sometimes, my pen also, goes dry, then "I" go back, to what I believe. Then, as I think, the fog clears, I realize, my heart is still full, I just got a little tired. Guess, we all, need a break, sometimes. Love the poem. Martin |
