Walking, In The Rain
1 February, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
Sometimes, well, lately, a lot of times, I feel so, down
Hey, that is the life we live, but, when, I hear the Thunder roar
I know, it is going to rain, I take off, my clothes, except,
What society, says, I need to wear, wish, I were more free
Out the door, I can hear the thunder, beating in my soul
I run, outside my front door. T-Shirt on and shorts, now,
I take my soul, for a walk, bearing all my heart, is allowed
As I walk and feel the rain, Thank you God, I love, a thunder storm
Rain, God, I love the rain, more fresh than, your last kiss
I love, to walk, in a thunder storm, I hear, the lightening
Giving life to my heart, like a thunder bolt. Thank you God
I feel, alive, fresh tears you share with me, from that wooden cross
God, I love to walk in the rain and hear the lightening and feel
The thunder bolts, of all the love you have for me. Dear God
I love to walk and feel your tears, that you cried for me, God,
I feel so, clean, as your love comes showering, over me
I walk down my street, my neighborhood, no one else, is
Out on our street, I walk alone with you, you know, my pain
Again, I hear your voice, as it roars, and your love, pours
Down over me, God, I love, walking, in the rain
