Living Sober
4 February, 2005
Author: Shaz
Living Sober now that's me, I live for my delight
I'm living sober, living free no demons come at night
Living clean that's my life, I'm living nightmare free
I'm walking, running I'm not scared I kind of like new me
I've stabbed the pain, shot the misery, paid the waiters tab
I've soothed with cream, put on plasters, eased out bleeding scab
Stitched up the wound, fixed my soul, bandaged all the break
I am the decision maker there solely mine I make
My head is not just looking down its gazing up and see's
I'm no longer stumbling round with gravel on my knees
It took me along time to heal, I'm not sure that it's done
But hey while in this happy state at least I'm having fun
Living sober, living free, living for today
Please just leave me for a while I like it so this way
