All That I Need
8 February, 2005
Author: Megan
All that I need, is something to cling to
because my world is falling down
I let go of you, yeah I let go of you
I just want to leave this town
I'm starving for stability
I need some meaning and structure
I'm drowning in this vulnerability
My insides feel like they are gonna rupture
So I'm too broken to love
And it's sad to look in my direction
but when push comes to shove
I break down in that friction
All that I need, is an escape
because my life is going past
Everybody's motives turn good too late
And I want something to take, that works strong and fast

Meridian (172.139.106.211) -- Wednesday, February 9 2005, 10:01 pm Feels like you're requesting for a strong foundation to stand on, a sturdy boulder or wall to lean on, feels like life is one whirlpool, or one tornado, doesn't it? I know how it feels to downshift. I believe through poetry we can cope. Just my thoughts Megan! But, I want to commend you on your admirable work here! Meri |
