A Heart, Thrown Deep, Into, The Burning Sun
9 February, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
If, I, were thrown, deep into the burning sun, as I burned, I would think of you
As I burn, the Sun would say, this is a waste of time, send his, heart, back to her
Do, you feel, the burning of my love for you, so warm, deep in your heart
Yes, I know, you, never asked me to go that far, but, I did for you
You cry, my words like my love for you, find, that tender spot, in your heart
I would burn within the center of the Sun, still, I would love you, why? You Ask
Why, do I go so far for you? Because, I know, all, you have been through
You need a love, that will burn in the center of the Sun for you, & I would
Still, you cry, the past, comes back to you, I say, I am the future
My love, can stand the heat of the burning Sun, my thirst is calmed
By your love, still, you cry, tears fall down your heart, you ask why
Would I do such a thing, I’m nothing special, then, I share, my tears with you
You are the sun set, after the rain, you are the flower in the morning
You are, the smile and your touch most of all, when you take my hand
Like an old friend, still not believing, how much I love you, I see your smile
It tears me apart, all the pain you have felt, I had rather be, burning in the Sun
Than, see, the pain, that keeps coming back to you, and in front, of my heart
I had rather be, burning, in the center of the Sun, than, see your pain
Then, you reach out with your little hand for mine, I see, you wipe
The tears, from your eyes, then, you kiss me and hold me, forever in your heart
