It's All Up To Me
10 February, 2005
Author: Scott
My foolish pride
Stubborn as it may be
Seems to be our problem
And it’s all up to me
It’s all up to me
To realize my mistakes
It’s all up to me
To do whatever it takes
To put our love back on track
To show the affection that I lack
As hard as it may be
With life pounding on our door
You deserve the best I can give
You deserve so much more
Excuses will only get me so far
Before your love for me
Has slowly faded away
And it’s all up to me
It’s all up to me
To realize my mistakes
It’s all up to me
To do whatever it takes
To put our love back on track
To show the affection that I lack
It’s time for the excuses to fade
And for me to step up to the plate
It’s all up to me
To get our love straight
------- Author's Notes -------
My significant other and I got into a nice little argument and I wanted her to know how sorry I am. |

Meridian (172.163.6.137) -- Thursday, February 10 2005, 08:57 pm Aww Scott! I'm smiling as I type this. I'm glad you two, are able to discuss and reconcile, without heading down the road of separation. It's nice to read poetry about, filling in the gaps of the relationship, or acknowledging mistakes, or what have you. I hope she accepts your apology. A poem like this---whew! I was deeply touched. Well, enjoy your day Scott! *Meri* |

Shorty (207.178.185.51) -- Monday, June 20 2005, 02:00 am I hate it when you love someone and it gets complicated or you get in a fight.. it shouldn't matter that much if you love eachother.. thank you for giving me a different perspective.. I hope you two can set things straight and that everything goes ok... |
