My Lover
10 February, 2005
Author: Shaz
Please don’t turn away from me, please don’t turn and hide
I’m asking you be patient, just tolerate be kind
I won’t be cruel or spiteful; I won’t ever run away
I’m just having a bad moment, bad hour and bad day
I’m fighting with myself alone; I can’t bring you in
I know it is hard for you, but it’s a struggle I must win
I love you then I love you now that will never change
Is not my house, kids or you, it’s my mind I rearrange?
I have always put on faces to give people happy smile
Now I can’t do that, I am battling for a while
I can’t make peoples face light up; I can’t do it any more
I’m talking to myself now; I’m settling my own score
So all I ask is stay by me, stay and this I swear
It will get better in a while if you really care
Just wait don’t worry ill be there I’m trying to recover
I can’t do it without you, please stay by me my lover
