Pain runs through my veins
down my legs
past my knees
to my calves where they bleed

Pain leaks from my arms
past my elbows
to my wrists
from the open scars

Pain runs from my heart
past the knife
to the floor
i feel pain no more

pain runs from me
huh you used to chase me
now im free
