Never Say Goodbye

Dear baby,
I know what he had was real
so i plan on telling you how i feel
i wanted to let you know that you were the reason
i awoke every morning with a smile upon my face
you were the reason for my living for and my heart's increasing pace
then i saw how hard it was without you and i hate wondering where you are
the day our love was brought to an end
left the darkest; deepest; permanent scar
if i could have only found the words to say before
we would still be going strong
if i would have never told you how much i "HATED" you
time away from you wouldn't seem so long
alot has been said and alot has been done
someone eventually had to make it clear so i might as well be the one
the pain of not having you made me hurt myself in a whole new way
i cut and i bled but the pain was there to stay
I grabbed my knife and i cut too deep and life as i knew it was through
Today I'm not here but you are so baby a good life I wish to you
Marlene
