Lost

Where's the little boy I used to know?
A boy like any other kid.
Laughing, joking, messing around
Just like everyone else did.
Where has this little boy gone?
His cheeky mischievous grin
Is now replaced
By anothers greivous sin.
Where is this little boy?
I miss him oh so much.
His rosy cheeks, his shining eyes,
I'm afraid he's out of touch.
Little boy, smile please.
Let your happiness shine.
Be merry, be happy, be free.
Just make everything be fine.

Britney (67.136.94.170) -- Wednesday, February 23 2005, 02:11 am I loved all your poems. They were all such great reads. Kept up the great work looking forward to reading more of your work. Such great expression. Yet so sad at the same time. Thanks for sharing always, ~Britney~ :) |
Mistress (165.226.233.93) -- Friday, February 25 2005, 08:39 pm Mike, This poem is bittersweet to me. I can feel what your saying, I think the same thoughts all too often. Good stuff, very well done. |
Raimee (80.5.40.153) -- Monday, March 7 2005, 08:04 pm Hey Mike, you're getting better than me. ;) Another excellent poem, as always. I hope to speak to you soon, take care. Love your ever faithful Rai. (P.S) I got this off Craig. ;D |
LBK (84.9.36.131) -- Saturday, March 12 2005, 01:57 am I like this poem...it is similar to one of the others...again...I still see that little boy :P |
Holly (82.34.160.81) -- Monday, April 4 2005, 02:59 pm This has to be one of my favourite ones. I think it's because I can relate to it so well. If it were to say girl, instead of boy, it would be my life. |
