Hope Is In The Distance by The Lost Girl

Tears pour down as I hit an epiphony,
of what my life without pain really could be.
I smile as I look into the distance,
and see something called hope pulling me back to existance.
I'm not yet over cutting,
and haven't rid of hurting,
but I know that I can be alright,
and I know it's going to take a fight.
I've chosen to not live my life this way.
I've chosen to smile and be okay.
No one gave me this pain I have.
I just took all circumstances and made them sad.
I never saw the good part of things,
I just pushed that away and took all the bad it brings.
Now I'm noticing the bright side of it all,
and pushing away the side that makes me fall.
I don't really know why my heart suddenly changed,
it's like me emotions just completely rearranged.
The ones' I felt occasionally replaced the contant ones',
and now happiness burns within me like the heat of a million suns.
I might of changed because of one of my friends words,
or because I am trusting more in a man- a man I call The Lord.
Or it could've been because of him- the one who always smiled,
who turned my heart to butterflies as I just sat and sighed.
Whatever, or whoever, the reason for me changing might have been,
I'm grateful for it happening, I know now I can win.
I hope you smile as you read these words, as I did when I wrote this,
because now you know I'm getting better, and hope is in the distance.

Hey this is good you see hope now even if it is in the distance. Use what ever gets you through and when you are there at the happiness counter you will be the most equipped to help those who suffer. Well done
