Dreams Asunder
25 February, 2005
Author: Newage Caveman
As I watch the Sun glow,
As I hear the birds sing
I am reminded of this wonderful memory
Oh, please stop the red herring.
Reminded I am of this damsel
Damsel with eyes that glow
She walks away in sadness
Sadness, that tell you so.
As I walk with her in madness,
As I talk to her in glee
She runs away to a distant country
Yes, I can see her flee.
Come back for the man in distress
Come back, oh little doe
Thou shall return, oh lovely angel
Do you hear my staccato?
As I bid farewell to my dreams
Dreams that will never depart
Tears roll down from her cheeks
But her eyes are buried deep inside my heart.
