See Me In You
28 February, 2005
Author: Shan
My skin cage contains
emotions made within
Each day, I pray to the above
For love to live again
I wish there was a way or notion
To show the love, enclosed to share
I pray for the above to show you
Just how much I truly care
I wish there was a way to know you
Underneath the skin you wear
Baring this life that we all go through
I want to be the one who's there
Let me be the one you run to
Let me see just what you fear
Let me be the one you come to
Let me be comfort, when you're scared
Hold me when your life seems cold
Let me stand inside your stare
From now until the day we're old
I want to be the one who's there
I wish you could see my soul uncovered
See me wander, see me through
Feel my heart beat all it's thunder
See how much of me's in you
See under my skin cage, see straight to my truth
Each and every day
Please see me in you
