To Love Someone
28 February, 2005
Author: Barbara Goodhew
When we are in love,
Our feelings should fit like a glove.
Not to much trying to get it on right.
Not to tight.
Just nice and comfortable,
That's the way love should be.

barb (209.112.22.179) -- Monday, February 28 2005, 02:17 pm We have all had relationships where there is pain arguing and hurtful things said but we kept trying to make it work. I found true love is comfortable trust dependibility, kindness and no struggling. |

Martin Vann (63.25.149.45) -- Monday, February 28 2005, 08:31 pm Barb, Remember the first time, you really, felt his kiss. No, not the first time, you had been kissed, but, this time, his lips seemed to fit. Your arms, with hesitation, but, driven by devotion, wraped around his heart. So, many years, so many changes, yet, you still, feel his lips touch your heart, that has never changed, I pray, it never will. With the sun on your back, or snow in your face, hold his lips, hold his lips and his heart, close to all your heart has to give. Then, forever, you will as you say in the few words of your poem, love will be in your heart, forever! MV |
