Blowing In The Wind
8 March, 2005
Author: Mike
As light as a feather,
As free as snow.
Floating in the wind,
Blow away, blow.
Carry me away,
Away from all the pain.
Never to suffer at
Those evil hands again.
Let me form a puddle
Of pain and sorrow and guilt,
My anger causing a storm
As my eyes with tears they fill.
All these emotions are true,
All my feelings are heartfelt.
A block of ice my heart has formed,
Ice that just won't melt.
Maybe in the future,
This cold inside will thaw.
As time goes on I cling
To this hope more and more.
