Dear Mother
9 March, 2005
Author: Franca Adah
I place my hand in yours
seeking your comfort
Looking deep in your eyes
No more could you hold back
No more could the pains be blown away
Sucking at your breast
It taste bitter but once sweet
You just can't tell me to stop
I felt you, I knew but had no choice
Time has come and gone and you are down
If life could be fare
I could still have you around
But the inevitable came you are gone
Placed miles away from me with no choice
How tender I was but valiant to accept uncertainty
With a heart, a soul
Tears deep in my cold world
How too soon you are gone
How much I long to call you back
Here I am stripped naked to the harsh weather
Oh! Mother!!
