March 13, 2005 Suicide Note by mArLeNe

This day she was born and this day she will die
Life isn't fair and she's living a lie
She grabs her only weapons her paper, pen, and knife
Writes her suicide letter and says she's taking her own life
Her mother finds the letter as she cries she reads what her daughter states
Now she wants to fix it all, and its sad this is what it takes...
"To whom it may concern:
Thank you for the "memories", the "happiness" and the "love"
If there was a time you watched over me now I'll be watching YOU from above
No one took the time to listen, care, nor ask "Why?"
Now that I'm gone you'll try to make it better.Don't, your only option is to cry
Mom, thank you for taking away my hope and bringing me new fears
Dad, thank you for never asking and for laughing at my tears
Brothers, I have nothing to say but I love you and goodbye
Sister, the room is finally, entirely yours, theres more room in which to lye
Everyone who cared or at least had to act like they did, I'm sorry but in a world so cruel only so many can survive
An insignificant soul has just been sent up to where it belongs, but no day could have been better than March 13, 2005

ummm im gonna say the usual 'dont do nufin stupid' thing...but not cos its the rite thing 2 do but cos i know what its like when life jst doesnt turn out the way u hoped or even wished it would...n i had me depressed periods and everythin else dat goes wif it...but this is why im still here...i couldnt stand the thought of what my lil bro or my friends would go thru if i did it...besides i think everyone knows life can b pretty f**d...u jst gotta make da best of it :-)

strong words marlene,but like jay and britney said,dont do anything stupid.You have alot to look forward to,even though at the moment you feel your life is empty.
you have a HUGE talent in writing that should be shared with the world. dont ever think that no one loves you,I love and I dont know you.

we are all human and we all struggle,just dont ever think your doing it alone.

Really good poem,and exactley what you mean " thank you for reading my poems!" I hope you don't mean that as in "Thats all I've got,goodbye" scnece...Writen many of 'poems' like this one of yours to everyone that knows me.But they usually end up in the bin cos I got to 'redraft' it everytime as something new happens everyday..sh*t or nice.But it happens.But leaving such a 'poem' for people means that you still have a will to live as you still want to share- even if it is saying goodbyes. Well don't stop sharing with us because...well I don't really think you need an explanation.We care,ok?Lets just leave it at that..xxx

Thats crazy that you named your poem march 13, its the same day as my b-day I also really enjoyed the poem. writing is sometimes the only way people are able to hear your cries

wow you do not know how many times i have heard ppl say thing like this, and how many times i have seen it in iraq. your words help a soldier of mine i let her read it and asked, is that realy what you want she cryed and sayed she wants to live.. so you do the same and thanks
