Back Side, Of The Full Moon's Glow
15 March, 2005
Author: ShyHeart
My heart asks, of my soul, can we go for a quite walk, just you and me?
Quietly, we both agree, we feel the softness, as we walk, of no sound at all
The back-side of the moon, is all that hears our heart and soul speak
In privacy, the evening breeze says, hush, to the leaves above us, its just you and me
As we speak, a thunder bolt burst, from the shy, words of the heart and soul
Shared, need to be shared, with other hearts & souls who, never speak
Then with a flash of heat never felt before, our words are engraved
My heart & soul are shared, with the back-side of the moon's full glow
No one goes there anyway, what we say, no one will ever know
My heart asks my soul, how are you? Soul replies, I'm doing fine
I want to thank you for your concern, many, just don't care
I know just what you mean, sometimes I feel..., you know,
The baby was thrown out, with the heart
There I lay, a baby beating heart, in the mud, its good to talk with you
If, it weren't for you my soul, who knows where I'd be today
As we walk and speak privately, my soul turns to my heart,
And asks? So, where have you been for so long?
I have been so, wrapped up in myself, I just forgot you, my best friend
I apologize, my heart gets lost so easily. Then replies my soul;
I know what you mean, glad you found the time to take, this walk with me
No one will ever know, how much we love each other, Hey, see that moon Above?
