Not A Friend
16 March, 2005
Author: Franca Adah
Like a mouse in my closet
watching through the openings
sneaking through the house
Always glancing at my face
Walking beside me like a shadow
See all thatI see and know
Waiting at every corner of the earth
Smiling mischievously at me
In school, you play a friend
Always placing me at risk
Jealous of anyone close by
wanting me, causing me pains
Right inside me, you hide
Upseting my system
My heart becomes a toy
Only to contaminate my blood stream
You are wicked, not a friend
Why must you always be with me
my heart, no longer at rest
Now! You must say goodbye.
