Persistence
9 March, 2004

I thought I became disabled because
I deserved it as punishment.

My treatment of my adopted mother,
my treatment of my marriage put
some in astonishment.

Now I realize I became disabled
to show others there is hope.

Determination and persistence
have been my assistances.

I feel blessed now,I was given
the chance to find out what I love to do.

Determination and persistence was a gift.
Accepting what has happened is my reward.

Barb ... there's always hope to keep us going. I'm sure it's your determination that helps you fight on ... and keep just doing that!

I don't blame you

Barb; what was up with that nurse? Barb, I'm happy for you! You proved that you had the strength of determination to prove that you could go in the washroom without letting giving up.

You're an inspiring poet Barb
I can learn a lot from you,

This is none other than,
