Running by Britney

When i'm at the starting line i get so nervous you know?
When I meet the other people I know
Theres only a little competition they show.

Can't really judge anyone never seen them run.
All I know is i'm there to compete and rush.
Sprint my little heart out till i'm at the
end. Even know i'm out of breathe
i made it all the way there.

Once I hear I won a medal 1 2 or 3
you know next time you see me
i'll blow past you don't you see.

So everytime i'm at the starting line
I know i'll be ready to rock and roll.
The adrenaline inside me is ready
to sprint it out and see you at the
end with some water in my mouth
all out of breathe.

great job Britney, keep that passion burnin'....
great job.....I know the feeling and flow of the adrenaline rush...tennis was my racquet.....a passion that remains within me..didn't care if i won or lost...the moving part was giving out a sweet sweat of being able to play a good game.. recently on my daily mornin' walks at one of our local park..i was offered to join in w/some local gentleman at the courts as they could see it was still in me......if i wasn't so rusty i'd of taken them up on ..A GAME OF LOVE...someday...someday.....thanx 4 sharin' your passion for running ......Terrie*

I love your poem and I'm in cross country and track and I love to run not for the ribbins and medals, but for the heart, but I love your poem and it says so much about how I'm getting ready for a 1 mile run or 3200 meter relay or 800 meter run. Thanks for the poem it's great!!!
