If Only I Knew
20 March, 2005
Author: KitKatrina
She is losing her faith, and all she has known,
Not one emotion left, not one feeling shown,
She’s crying for help, looking to anyone near,
Feeling sorry for herself, alone with her fear,
Her mother has left her, her father left too,
Her sisters all hate her, what more can she do?
What is left to look to, she has not a soul,
What keeps her going, her life is so dull,
One day she realized, she could ease the pain,
She took a needle, stuck it into her vein,
The pain slowly lifted, she felt like air,
Finally she felt good, the pain wasn’t there,
This was the solution, to rid her of tears,
This was the solution, to having no fears,
She found her answer, the pain was gone,
She left the world, from dusk until dawn,
She needed help soon, or else she would die,
I tried to help her, all she would do is lie,
It was too late, she died late last night,
If only I knew, I would’ve put up a fight.
