Your Daughter
22 March, 2005
Author: Mere
I'm failing, it's hurting me, it's like I don't care,
But I do, and I see it, it's so hard to bear,
I guess it's a good thing I don't have a knife,
Cause right about now, I'd end my damn life.
I don't understand myself, why am I like this?
Everyone sees my scars, they're hard to miss,
I sometimes wonder why I didn't go with Jay,
It'd make mom's life easier, wouldn't you say?
It's been a month since I ate something big,
Don't you worry, it's not your grave to dig,
I'm a burden in your life, I'm sorry you had me,
I hurt you and everyone else, can't you see?
I waste my nights thinking about it, I'm sorry I'm here,
I sometimes wish, when we're driving, we hit a deer,
To throw me out the window, no seatbelt present,
To finish school without me, wouldn't that be pleasant.
I know how hard you try for me, I love you so much for that,
But I'm spoiled and I hate it, I'm a whiney f**king brat,
I want you to pass, I want you to succeed,
Saying this sh*t is just something I need.
