Sound Of Da Wind
5 June, 2003
Author: Christian V
here da wind
whisper in ones ear
da sound so soft and so pleasing
one wonders where dis sound comes from
from da earth, da sea or even from da heavens above
to see da wind in ones eyes
such and rare and beautiful sight
without da sound of da wind
ones questions can not be answered
all thingz would remain unknown
for it iz da sound of da wind
dat one will find thy selfs
heart and soul
jus listen for da wind
for it will lead you in your road

Dino (67.26.94.93) -- Tuesday, June 10 2003, 07:37 am How'z it brah! Hea, dis poem get da kind, little bit Island flava. Good though! Ya, I know dat sound coming from makai(ocean) to mauka(mountain). I stay in dis deep jungle, da wind comes, your all alone, den you hear a faint honk!, Den again, honk! Your all alone? You search fo dat sound. Honk! Are the souls of spirits with you? Honk! It's two branches rubbing together from da wind. Or is it da wind playing games with your mind, your soul? Da ghost of maki-die-dead, watching, telling you to come in deeper. Nice poem, it reminded me of then. Thanks Christian V |
