This Is Not The End.... by Terrie*

These words that
My heart writes
I share and bring home to you
I wrote them today
While my clouds were looking gray
while I was there in front of you
I sat myself at the edge of the beach
just as you ,Not allowing
Another soul to reach me
I started out with a happy heart
But then
I got some bad news
That ripped me apart
you never said a word
but I always felt there was something wrong
still you never said a word
you never shared
so I never let on that I knew
so I tell you with tears in my heart
I know......
We were at one time very close
In the face of time we drifted apart
I was told your days were marked for a few
My tears fall for you
Cancer is so cruel
For taking you away from
Those that love you
Death is not much better
For you will never be seen
But felt deep in our hearts
You forever will be
someone special to me
If I could be granted
one forever special wish
I’d wish that you and I spend
More happy days
And tell you how much I love you
Until another day starts new
To repeat and start all over again..
These are my words to you
The memory of your smile
stays with me
As I carry it within my heart
Even as we drifted apart
Know that these words
Have always been true
you will always be in my heart
forevermore
I love you !!!
