do you ever wonder
who I am??
as i often do..
and why I came to be??

do you even know
anything about me?
or for that fact do i??

I had a dream
that this life
was not about me
of who i am now

I had a vision
that made me question
who I am today
and why I am me
when it is not i whom i see

in my dream I was strong
but Geez it was all wrong
I feel so weak
i wish i knew
what made me
peek into that vision
and saw a different me

do you ever wonder
why your standing besides me
when I lived a different life

do you even care
that my love for you
I can not share
to be honest
this much i know
that doesn't even seem fair

do you care
that I am so lost
and clueless
to where I need to be
even though I know
that I love you
and are a part of me

do you always have to question my love?
when you know
it is there
but I dare not
let it loose
until I know why
you were placed there
to take care of me

you were once in my life
many shadows ago
but this time I feel
that I need to spare you some pain
and allow you to breath

cause I can not share in your
world as I did before

as it hurts me so
to watch your pain
as you try over and over again
to reach me
who is this man you call dad??

i understand the words
i love you as you often tell me
you know i love you too
but i can not remember too much about my life
why do i cause your heart so much pain
when i ask you about my son?
i see that tear
that always flows from your eyes
do you ever wonder
where my mind may be???
can i be saved??
and be found
from the person i lost?
