The Best May Be The Worst

I've mourned the wasted months
I've regreted alot
I hate the way things happen
Because in the end
I'm always sad
Never any laughter
Never any positive thoughts
Love and friendship
Over powers me
I wish for a great friend
But I never get it
I'ts all thrown back
All into my face
Love is harsh
But friends are much harsher
They lie to you
They abuse your kindness
They get what they can from you
And they gather much hate
And then they unleash it upon you
They put you at fault
For their misdeeds
For their penitence
For their misunderstanding
For their selfishness
They then hurt you
They leave you
They crush you
They don't think about it
They just do it
With no remorse
Their incompetence
Destroys you
Destroys your inocence
Destroys your purpose
It kills to let go
Of the one you love
But sometimes
It may be the best thing
For the both of you
Best for your health
Both mentally and emotionally
Prejudice against the best
Actions taken forsaken
A broken heart
As a result of loss
Loss of a amazing
Yet terrible lover or friend
Again the best may be the worst
